Cerebral Palsy & Special Children
Special care for special children — milestone by milestone.
What is Cerebral Palsy & Special Children?
Cerebral palsy is a group of conditions affecting movement and posture, caused by injury to the developing brain before, during or shortly after birth. It varies widely from child to child. Early, consistent physiotherapy helps children achieve developmental milestones, improve function and participate more fully in everyday life.
Every child deserves the chance to move, play and grow with confidence. Our pediatric team uses individualised, family-centred therapy to improve movement, posture, balance and independence in children with cerebral palsy and developmental delays.
Signs & Symptoms
- Delayed milestones (sitting, crawling, walking)
- Stiff or floppy muscle tone
- Poor posture, balance and coordination
- Difficulty with fine and gross motor skills
- Tightness or contractures in joints
- Challenges with feeding or speech
Our Approach
Therapy is play-based and built around your child and family. We use neuro-developmental techniques, strengthening and stretching, posture and seating advice, and goal-focused practice of everyday skills. Parents are coached as active partners so progress continues at home.

Frequently Asked Questions
As early as possible. The developing brain is most adaptable in the early years, so early therapy gives children the best opportunity to build skills.
